Jesus payed the debt of Adamic sin we all are born with, but for the sins we have done deliberately or even those done in ignorance of the God's Law, we have to repent over to actually benefit from that ransom sacrifice and from then on work on relationship with God

People make mistake and view God's kindness as a weakness when it is lack of kindness and love that will undo what is worth living for
