I just HAVE to comment on that, Flutterby... lol I watched the hippie movement with great interest when I was in junior high and highschool. I even remember deciding that I wanted to be a flower child when I grew up!
The problem is I came of "hippie age" just when hippies were on the way out and "yuppies" were coming in. I always did feel a little cheated by that.
Many people over the years, however, have told me that my brightly colored artwork, whether it's on drawing paper or on the computer, reminds them of the '60's and 70's! I guess there may yet be a flower child in me somewhere. All I know is, I am just nuts about vivid bright colors! :D
