Wallpaper Description:
Nosferatu (Nosferatu, eine Symphonie des Grauens) is a silent film directed by Friedrich Wilhelm Murnau and screened for the first time March 5, 1922.
Considered the masterpiece of German director and one of the cornerstones of horror cinema and expressionism, Nosferatu is freely inspired by the novel Dracula (1897) by Bram Stoker. Murnau had to change the title, the names of the characters (Count Dracula became Count Orlok, played by Max Schreck) and places (from London to Wisborg) for problems related to the legal rights of the work, in fact Nosferatu in Romanian means "not expired ". The director, however, was denounced by the heirs of Stoker, lost the case for breach of copyright and was sentenced to destroy all copies of the film, however, a single copy "illegal" was saved by the same Murnau, and the film is able to survive and get to this day. Psychoanalysis has taken hold of the work for a long series of speculations.
