The tree kept right on dancing. He had a way of tapping his roots and stomping his trunk that was very attention getting. He didn't realize that everyone in the club was watching him. Actually, they didn't have much choice. He was quite a large tree, and he took up most of the dance floor!
His fun came to a halt temporarily when the manager decided he'd better do something about this large customer. He asked the Bouncer to ask the tree and asked for some ID. The tree hated to stop dancing, so he was a bit rude. He refused to say whether he was a maple tree, an elm tree, or even an oak tree. Since the Bouncer could not get any ID, he asked the tree to leaf, or rather, to leave.
So the tree did leave. But he left with a beat in his roots and a smile on his face. In fact, he stepped out into the night singing, and boogie woogied all the way back to where he had pulled his roots out of the ground.
The last time I saw him, he was teaching Boogie Woogie Music to the Moon, an owl, and a snowman. He's still dancing the winter away, as far as I know. In fact, if you want to learn to Boogie Woogie so that YOU can forget all about this cold and crazy snow filled winter, I'm sure he'd be happy to teach you how.

I'm mesmerized with trees ( I swear, I believe they are fully aware, have intelligence) and you have my other favorite here; a snowman, and all set in the night. Perfect for my "Night" group. thank you for adding it! This image and the story is truly for a children book of stories. Did you write this? 🌳 ⛄ï¸
Nice colours, its so cold in Peterborough that people are going to the hockey arenas just to get warm and rumour has it that the polar bears at our zoo have asked to be sent back home, just joking, this is Canada and its supposed to be cold, did you know that we have a species of mosquito up here called mosquitice, they have iclicles that freeze your skin so you dont feel them injecting it into you and they drain all the vitamin D from you, there easy to spot cause they wear tiny little toques and three pair of mukluks, now theres an idea for someone to come up with a pic of, nice job Elaine :-)
