While we were working hard to prevent ourselves from falling into financial ruination, they were having a party, using our hard earned money. I'd say; we have a backbone but as for them, they (people we were thought to trust) are as slippery as a bucket of eels. They say one thing and do another. But as for God saving America... only for a short time... after that... curtains for all who have identified themselves as God's opposers (thru their speech, actions, lack of support for God's principles and rules and who attack those who do obey these). God has put in front of us life and death. We chose what happens to us. Everything is open and visible to God. He not only sees what we do but also what we think and our desires that lead us this or, that way.

"18 For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God. 19 For it is written:

“I will destroy the wisdom of the wise; and
the intelligence of the intelligent I will frustrate.” 1. Corinthians 1:18,19
