Whether a “house” is a nation, a family, or conflicting internal positions–physical, emotional or spiritual–a divided house will fall.
"A house divided cannot stand"_ A Lincoln (but really this saying comes from; Luke 11:17 Jesus said:

""Every kingdom divided against itself is headed for destruction, and a house divided against itself falls. American Standard Version But he, knowing their thoughts, said unto them, Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation; and a house divided against a house falleth."

Focus is on the conflict, not on strengthening the house with resolute thoughts, actions and deeds. So if your house is divided, resolve to unite it or suffer its fall.
