Dimmu Borgir (IPA: /ËŒdɪmuËˈbÉ”Ërɡɪr/) is a Norwegian symphonic black metal band from Oslo, Norway, formed in 1993. "Dimmu Borgir" means "Dark Cities" or "Dark Fortresses" in Icelandic and Old Norse. The name is derived from a volcanic formation in Iceland, Dimmuborgir. My Favord song is "The Serpentine Offering" it is not the kind of Musik to hear at a sunny Evening to relax ,but in a dark foggy Club late night it is very very cool. H.S.A

Dimmu Borgir is some of the most EVIL stuff I've ever heard. "The Serpentine Offering" is my new favorite of theirs--bombastic orchestra at first, then joined in by the guitars and blast beat, all of which gives my goosebumps their own goosebumps. My other favorites are "Sorgens Kammer," "Progenies of the Apocalypse," "Puritania" and "Behind the Curtains of Night--Phantasmagoria".
