Johnny Cash (* February 26, 1932 as JR Cash in Kingsland, Arkansas, USA, † September 12, 2003 in Nashville, Tennessee, USA) was one of the most influential US-American country singer and song writer.

Cash was for his distinctive bass-baritone voice and the "Boom-Chicka-boom sound of his Tennessee Three backing band, and its critical and unconventional texts known.
