Saw this as a young teen with my Mom. Being very 'sensitive', 'empathetic' in nature, I took every character and the story from each one's point of view, not at all aware that I was going to have a broken heart for every one of them. Tears trickled during the movie, but when I got home, they came down in torrents so that my bed seemed to float. I cried most of the time for almost 3 days; I couldn't stop until Mom finally threatened to spank me.

Saw this movie just a few days back and went back many years. A lovely flick with the best artists of its time.
